Philomena is a nationally certified massage therapist and licensed in MD, DC, and VA. She is also a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. Philomena graduated from the Potomac Massage Training Institute in 1992, and went on to teach the fundamental nature of deep tissue touch in the practical classroom. She served in various administrative capacities including Dean of Students.
Her training in Deep Tissue and Swedish along with Polarity Therapy, Reflexology, Pregnancy Massage, Connective Tissue Therapy, and Reiki allow her to incorporate these skills in to a balanced, holistic experience for clients. Philomena is a Reiki Master. She spent almost a year in Thailand learning the art of Thai Massage and believes massage is a meditative dance that is led by the energy created in each session.
